Performance : LiveCoding improv II

Workshop by  Hlöðver Sigurðsson.

Hlöðver Sigurðsson plays  a musical improvision using interactive graphics. The music is performed through a computer program, programmed by the artist to control the performance. The composer uses Overtone to program chords and sounds, using glitches and noise to create an unpredictable outcome. The graphics are created by connectiong sounds from color and pattern parameters in the graphic via GLSL programming. All programs used are published under the Creative Commons or MIT/BSD/GNU.

Hlöðver Sigurðsson graduated with MA in music composition from Iceland Arts Academy in 2015. During his studies he started to explore new paths using the computer as instrument. His great interest in computers and progamming language have led him into experimentations where composition of computer music and performance play egal roles.
